This is an old one. It was taken with a very early digital camera. A point and shoot model, at a time when few cell phones had color screens let alone cameras this photo stands out. Taken at the Portland Japanese Garden sometime around 2006. I feel that while the photo may lack real interest, I mean it is a metal top on a railing, it still is technically a good picture. The subject is in focus, well defined, and separated from the background. It is well lit, without any harsh shadows.
For the camera’s day you couldn’t ask for much better from a cheap point and shoot camera. Before posting this I looked back at the other pictures from this set and tried to see if I nailed any others that might have held more interest. There were very few where focus and exposure were anywhere close to this good.
Let it roll. This among my best pictures from that period.
I think the reason I have waited so long to post this is because I couldn’t come up with a good title.
